2/28/2023 0 Comments Broken roads video game![]() ![]() ![]() Our decisions and choices in conversations will place the character within four philosophies: utilitarianism, humanism, machiavellianism and nihilism, which will affect its perception of the world and the direction in which the story will go. The developers have prepared an interesting dialogue system, a bit similar to the one in Disco Elysium. Most of the gameplay, however, will be spent on conversations with NPCs. Fights will take place in turn-based mode and put a lot of emphasis on the tactical aspect. The game will not lack a comprehensive system of equipment and abilities. During the game we will command a party consisting of up to five people. The world of Broken Roads will be observed from a classic isometric perspective, while traveling through hand-painted 2D locations. So our main problem will be other people. Drop Bear Bytes would like to acknowledge the Wadawurrung people, Traditional Custodians of the land on which this game is made, and pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging. However, even prosperous settlements are still exposed to numerous threats, for example from bandits. Broken Roads on Steam Broken Roads is a narrative-driven RPG that brings exploration, strategic turn-based combat and meaningful philosophical choices to an all-new Australian post-apocalyptic setting. Because the continent's inhabitants don't live in fear of radioactive kangaroos and alligators, they've managed to partially rebuild their civilization by creating small, isolated communities. The tone of the game is definitely more serious and realistic, so there will be no fantastic elements, such as mutants, androids, etc. However, they will not resemble the world of Fallout, which undoubtedly was one of the major inspirations for the developers. ![]() During our the adventure in Broken Roads we will traverse the Australian wastelands. ![]()
